ITEM DETAILS & MEASUREMENTS Condition: Antique, Excellent Wearable Condition (see detailed notes below) Measurements: Size Stamped: 30 (See measurements for exact fit) Length (First hole to prong): 27.25 inches Length (Last hole to prong): 30.25 inches Total length (with buckle): 34.25 inches Belt Width: 1” (narrows slightly) to 1.25” (widest point) Buckle Dimensions: 1.5” L x 1.25” W Material: Oiled/Tooled Brown Leather Handmade in: Lusk, Wyoming, USA MAKER & HISTORY This is a rare piece from the renowned Wyoming maker John William \"Jack\" Kirwan (1884–1944), produced under the Kirwan-Neilson Makers mark in Lusk, WY, likely in the 1930s or early 1940s. Kirwan was a veteran who moved to Wyoming around 1915 and was a highly respected saddler and leather craftsman. Since he passed away in 1944, no new pieces have been produced for over 80 years. This is a finite piece of authentic Western Americana history. CONDITION NOTES This belt is an 80+ year-old antique piece and is sold in \"excellent wearable condition.\" The leather remains supple and strong, with a beautiful, rich aged patina. Minor surface crazing and a few light indentations are present near the sizing holes, consistent with gentle use and age. The floral tooling is sharp and well-defined. Please review all provided photos carefully as they are part of the description.
